Volunteering opportunities for CNHC registrants at Ashford Hospital in Surrey

Type: Volunteering

Date: 09 10 2025

The Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Ashford Hospital, Surrey, is an inclusive, welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing for patients living with and beyond cancer. It also serves as a supportive, non-clinical space for families, loved ones, carers and healthcare professionals involved in cancer care.

Volunteers are crucial to what we do and support every aspect of the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre. We rely on the variety and diversity that volunteers bring to our service and recognise the important contribution that volunteers make.

We are looking for friendly complementary therapists (Massage Therapists, Reflexologists, Aromatherapists, Microsystems Acupuncturists, Reiki and Yoga Therapists) who are willing to gift their skills and volunteer their time to the centre.  Using your professional skills, you will be part of this exciting opportunity from the very beginning.

You will help to create a safe, welcoming space where people affected by cancer can find comfort, connection and trusted support. If you have good communication skills and are passionate about the work you do, we would love to hear from you.
