UCLH is always looking for touch therapists to volunteer in our hospital in Central London. We will consider you whether you are experienced or newly qualified. 

There are number of different services you could be involved in:

• The staff 'spa' – where can staff can have a 50 minute couch-based massage treatment
• The 'Roving' staff massage service – where we offer short non couch-based treatments, often on the wards (e.g. Massage Therapy (chair massage or head massage), Reflexology, Shiatsu)
• Patient therapy (Reflexology)
• Patient therapy (Oncology).

We ask for:

• A minimum commitment of 6 months
• Regular 3 hour sessions every week or 2 weeks
• Therapists should live no more than 1 hours travel from the hospital.

We offer up to £10 towards travel and £4.50 for snacks (for each 3 hour shift).

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience with a wide range of people, many of whom have never experienced touch therapy before.
