Guidance for all Registrants
This guidance applies to all CNHC Registrants and is aimed at helping you to prepare to return to practice once it is safe to do so. You can find it here.
Additional advice for 'hands-on ‘therapies
This additional guidance applies to CNHC Registrants who practise 'hands-on'. You can find it here.
Note: Our advice does not apply to Registrants employed directly by the NHS or other regulated health and social care organisations such as hospices, nursing homes and care homes.
When can you return to work?
The Northern Ireland Executive announced on 18 June that businesses involving close personal contact can provisionally return to work on 6 July. If confirmed, this means all self-employed CNHC Registrants practising in Northern Ireland can return to working face to face on this date if they can maintain the required social distancing, and can return to 'working hands-on' if they have the required infection control procedures in place.
We are expecting the UK Government to make an announcement relating to England on 23 June.
For the moment, our advice that CNHC Registrants cannot yet return to practising face to face in England, Scotland and Wales still stands. Registrants should continue to work remotely if they are able to do so.
