Thames Hospice have an exciting opportunity for a qualified, caring therapist to join their team as a Complementary Therapist at Thames Hospice. The successful candidate will be required to manage their own caseloads and have a keen interest in working within Palliative care whilst ensure the provision of a high standard of Complementary Therapy. 
These are exciting times for Thames hospice, they have planning permission for a larger purpose built facility due for completion in Summer 2020, whereby they will be developing and extending their existing services.
Practitioners need to hold an accredited qualification in Massage Level 3 (essential) and in addition hold or be willing to acquire Level 3 in Reflexology and Reiki Level 2. The ideal candidate will be registered and insured with a regulatory body and committed to maintaining their professional registration.

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience with an understanding of current developments in Palliative care, along with good communication skills and able to liaise with a multidisciplinary team and the ability to be sensitive to the needs of others.

The role will be part time Monday to Thursday. All 4 days will start at 9 but two days will finish at 4.30 and the other two will finish at 1:15. There will be some flexibility.

The successful applicant will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check including a Barred List check.
