6 April 2025 is Sustainable Healthcare Day. Sustainable Healthcare Day was established in 2022 by the Integrated Healthcare Collaborative (IHC) and its member organisations (which includes CNHC as an associate member).

Sustainable healthcare is one of the most crucial issues facing us as a population. The IHC want you to join them in starting a national conversation about all aspects of this issue, and help to raise it up the political agenda. We all have a duty to ensure that our healthcare is provided in ways which are sustainable individually, financially, and environmentally. Every one of us is a stakeholder in our own individual health, and in that of our planet. We all have a voice, and a contribution to make.

This year, the IHC want you to tell them something you do, or try to do every day to sustain your own health and wellbeing, or that of the planet more widely. It could be anything! Something really small and simple, some kind of therapy or exercise, something dietary, even going for a walk or stretching. What's important is that these suggestions are simple and easily accessible to anyone who wants to try.

Help us by sharing your tips that people could try in order to improve their health and wellbeing through sustainable daily routines. We’ll start sharing them on 6 April for Sustainable Healthcare Day.
