Did you know that CNHC publish a Core Curriculum for each of the 18 disciplines we register?
They incorporate National Occupational Standards (NOS), which are government standards for safe and competent practice. All applicants for CNHC registration must have completed education and training that meet the requirements of the relevant Core Curriculum.
Professional Organisation who act as Verifying Organisations (VOs), verifying applications from complementary healthcare practitioner for CNHC registration, ensure that the requirements have been met for each application. VOs also ensure that the Core Curricula is circulated to all training providers whose courses they accredit, so that it can be used as the minimum basis for the design and delivery of courses.
The curricula are reviewed every five years by our Profession Specific Boards (PSBs).
