Strathcarron Hospice in Forth Valley, Scotland seeks Complementary Therapist for part-time role.

Strathcarron Hospice is a Key provider of Specialist Palliative Care in Forth Valley, and is committed to providing physical, psychological, and spiritual comfort to any patient who has complex or challenging problems associated with any type of life-threatening illness, and also offering support to families. Complementary Therapy is an integral part of the professional approach which aims to enable patients throughout their illness to achieve and maintain the highest possible quality of life.

The Hospice is seeking a motivated and committed therapist to work as part of this small team along with a good number of volunteer therapists.

You should be an experienced therapist who can offer a variety of complementary therapies including aromatherapy and massage. You must also have experience of working with cancer or palliative care patients and be able to demonstrate evidence of continued professional development.

Registered Nurses who are also therapists would be ideal applicants.

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 12 hours per week
  • Salary: £19,902-£28,746 per annum pro-rata (dependent on experience)
  • Closing Date: 21 October 2016
  • Provisional Interview Date: 2 November 2016
