Wessex Cancer Trust seeks a complementary therapist to provide a range of complementary therapies to cancer patients, families and carers.
Wessex Cancer Trust provides free non-clinical support to anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer across the Wessex Region. Some of this support is offered in its recently opened support centre in Bournemouth. However, the Trust currently requires a complementary therapist to work in its outreach service at Royal Bournemouth County Hospital.
The post is initially for one day per week. You will be an experienced professional with the ability to deliver a range of therapies such as massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and reiki.
You will have professional indemnity insurance and be a member of an appropriate professional body. Be able to work autonomously whilst at the hospital, but also as part of a multi-professional team in the hospital and at the Bournemouth support centre.
- Required education: Diploma/Certificate
- Required experience: Complementary Therapist: 2 years
- Hours: 10am to 4pm, one day per week
- Salary: £19,071 pro rata for part time employees
