Barts Health seeks complementary therapist for paid part-time role

Barts Health in London is looking for a Band 4 complementary therapist to work with cancer and palliative care patients. The successful candidate will be competent to provide treatments in an out-patient clinic and at hospital bedside. You will also provide support to the team of honorary therapists (volunteers).

You will possess a minimum level 3 qualification in massage, reflexology or shiatsu and at least one other therapy. You will have at least two years post qualification experience and you will have past experience of working with cancer and palliative care patients. CNHC registrants are welcome to apply.

The post holder will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and flexible in their working. They will be keen to learn and develop new skills and knowledge through the availability of a variety of training opportunities whilst facilitating the learning needs of honorary therapists.

  • Salary: £19,217 to £22,458 pa + allowances
