CNHC responds to NICE consultation on improving supportive and palliative care

CNHC responds to NICE proposals to remove complementary therapies from supportive and palliative care guidelines.

Complementary therapies are provided for patients, service users, carers and family members in almost every cancer and palliative care service in the country.

CNHC has responded to NICE’s proposal to remove complementary therapies from its guideline on supportive and palliative care in adults.

Our response states that this proposed removal represents a retrograde step for patients, carers and families.
