MND Scotland seeks self-employed complementary therapists
MND Scotland, a charity which provides care & support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease requires additional self-employed therapists to join their existing team. CNHC registered practitioners are invited to apply.
Therapists will provide treatment on patients and /or their carers within the clients homes for up to 10 sessions.
Payment is £30 per session and therapists in any of the following disciplines are required: aromatherapy, massage therapy or reflexology.
Therapists must also have their own insurance of at least £3million and have a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) certificate to work with vulnerable adults.
It is a requirement that therapists and must attend the MND Awareness course which will take place on Saturday 16 January 2016 from 11.00am – 3.00pm within the Glasgow office. Travel expenses will be available to attend the training and therapists travelling long distances maybe be entitled to an overnight stay the night before.
At this stage a limited amount of therapists are required from the following areas:
Argyle & Bute; Angus; Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire; Tayside; Kirkcaldy/Glenrothes/St Andrews; South Ayrshire; Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
