Job opportunity for CNHC registered practitioner in Wakefield

The Prince of Wales Hospice in Wakefield is seeking an experienced CNHC registered practitioner to work across in-care, outpatient and day therapy services, providing complementary therapies to patients and carers, with occasional treatments for staff.

Successful candidates will need to be CNHC registered in at least two disciplines as well as being a member of a professional association. A minimum of two years post-qualification experience is required plus experience of working with people with physical illness. Sound IT skills are also required. Experience of working in palliative care is desirable.

The service currently provides relaxation, Indian head massage, reflexology, visualisation, aromatherapy, and reiki. The Hospice is keen to further develop these treatments and to offer others where possible.

  • Hours: 22.5 per week
  • Salary: to be confirmed
