Penny Brohn Cancer Care seeks CPUK Living Well Coordinator in Oxford
Penny Brohn Cancer Care, in partnership with Cancer Partners UK (CPUK) is seeking a part-time CPUK Living Well Coordinator for its Oxford Centre. CNHC registrants with relevant experience are invited to apply.
Penny Brohn Cancer Care specialises in helping people to live well with the impact of cancer. In partnership with Cancer Partners UK, Penny Brohn is working alongside medical treatment and provides support and complementary therapies for patients undergoing radiotherapy/chemotherapy.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a registered nurse, health care professional or other health related professionals (e.g. Complementary Therapists / Psychotherapists / Counsellors), to provide a range of Penny Brohn Cancer Care Living Well services within the Oxford Cancer Partners UK Centre. This will include:
- Holistic assessments
- Managing Complementary Therapists
- Providing information and support services to patients who are undergoing radiotherapy/chemotherapy
- Supporting patients through relaxation and mindfulness sessions
- Delivering short courses on Living Well
Living Well Coordinators are responsible for ensuring a professional, progressive and positive experience for each patient as they move through Penny Brohn Cancer Care services at the Cancer Partners UK centre.
Salary : £27,000 - £32,000 pa pro rata, plus benefits
Hours : Part Time - 22.5 hours per week
