Profession Specific Board election update

The election is currently being held for the Alexander Technique Profession Specific Board (PSB). CNHC registered Alexander Technique teachers have been invited to vote for their preferred candidates. Voting will close on Monday 14th April and successful candidates will be informed the following day.

For the Bowen therapy and Yoga therapy PSBs fewer than four candidates came forward so there is no election in these cases.

CNHC registered Bowen therapist, Michael Morris, came forward for election to the Bowen Therapy PSB and as there were no other candidates he has been appointed. Two members of the existing PSB have also agreed to remain in position so the Bowen Therapy PSB members are Michael Morris, Angela Cannon and Alastair Rattray. You can see the biographies of the Bowen therapy PSB members here: Bowen Therapy PSB

CNHC registered Yoga therapists, Patricia Cronin and Maggie Shanks came forward for election to the Yoga therapy PSB and as there were no other candidates they have been appointed. Two members of the existing PSB have also agreed to remain in position and so the Yoga therapy PSB members are Patricia Cronin, Maggie Shanks, Jean Danford and Penny Roberts. You can see the biographies of the yoga therapy PSB members here: Yoga Therapy PSB

You can see biographies for all other CNHC PSB members here: CNHC PSB members biographies. Please note that the Alexander Technique PSB members’ biographies will be updated following the election.
