CNHC registered practitioner sought for Head of Complementary Therapies role
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a CNHC registered practitioner for the role of Head of Complementary Therapies at James Cook University Hospital Holistic Care Centre.
The trust has a long track record of using complementary therapies to support people through cancer treatment, and recently it began looking at how it could broaden its service to offer that support to all people who need the services of its regional cancer centre.
With a new inpatient service due to be launched in January 2014 and plans underway to revamp the outpatient model, the trust is now looking for someone to take the lead in setting high professional standards for complementary therapy provided by the trust.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced complementary therapist with a strong background in research and service evaluation as well as the skills to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, both inside and outside the trust to ensure a successful future for the service.
