Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford seeks a Co-ordinator for its Wellbeing Service

Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford is looking for a qualified complementary therapist to lead and co-ordinate the provision of a wellbeing and complementary therapy service to people accessing Farleigh Hospice Services.

CNHC registered practitioners with at least two registered complementary therapy disciplines, plus a management or leadership qualification, or equivalent experience within a health setting are invited to apply. Experience of managing a team, including volunteers, is an advantage.

You must be able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, with excellent and effective organisational and communication skills in order to provide a service of a high standard to people affected by a life limiting illness. You will need to work sensitively, holistically, and with empathy in an emotionally demanding environment, to meet the complex needs of patients and their carers.

You will be expected to participate in audit and development of the Wellbeing service in line with Farleigh Hospice's strategic and operational plan.

Competent IT skills are required as well as an ability to travel independently using your own transport.

Hours: 30 hours per week (Occasional evenings and weekends)

Salary: £20,626 - £27,624 per annum (pro rata)
