University of Worcester is seeking a CNHC registered Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nutritional Therapy
Located at The Institute of Health & Society this role requires the ability to work with a variety of people within the University. A key aspect of this role is to prepare students for their role as qualified Nutritional Therapists. Development of key Nutritional Therapy skills is enhanced by providing students with opportunities to work within the University clinics. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise and develop these areas of the student experience. Therefore it is important to have an in-depth understanding of this profession.
Essential criteria include:
1. A first degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area
2. A Master's degree in a relevant subject area
3. Experience and expertise in Nutritional Therapy practice
4. Up-to-date knowledge of Nutritional Therapy including recent initiatives and research
5. Experience of HE teaching
Salary: AC2/3, £30,423 - £44,607 pa, with opportunity to progress to £48,729 pa
Hours: 1 Full time or 2 Part time posts: hours per week negotiable
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: Appointment to March 2014, to cover maternity leave
