Sue Ryder seeks experienced aromatherapist

Sue Ryder is looking to recruit an experienced aromatherapist to work closely with the palliative care team at West Berks Community Hospital, Thatcham. CNHC registration is desirable.

The practitioner will be required to cover 2x (3 hour) sessions a week.
Session 1) Treatment to day therapy patients on alternate Wed and Fri mornings
Session 2) Treatment to patients and carers in an Out Patient clinic ideally on a Monday afternoon.

All of the patients have life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, etc.

The successful applicant will be working closely alongside other members of the palliative care team and although palliative care experience is an advantage, it is not essential.

The post is for a self-employed therapist and sessions are paid at a rate of £40. Work is part-time on a self-employed basis.
